Scientific Program
The scientific program consists of 2 Special Lectures, 7 Plenary Lectures, 21 invited lectures, 29 oral contributions and a Poster Session.

Posters:
In order to create an attractive forum for students to present their work, we will not only give ample time to the poster session, but also cover the travel and hotel expenses of the 3 best student posters up to 500.- Euro.

Posters should be self-explanatory; they should concisely communicate results and include a clearly understandable conclusion. Please avoid extensive blocks of text. Posters may not exceed A0 size (84 cm in width by 118 cm in height =33 inches in width by 47.2 inches in height). Material to attach the poster to the panels will be provided.
Language:
The symposium language is English. No simultaneous translation will be provided.
Information to Presenters:
Please bring your presentation on a CD-ROM or a memory stick with you. Presenters, who wish to use their own computers, are welcome, too. Please contact the session chair and the technical staff 30 minutes before the start of your session. An overhead projector can be supplied upon request. In order to minimize technical problems, presenters are kindly asked to prepare their presentations in MS PowerPoint program.
